La Marina is situated approximately 20 minutes drive from Alicante Airport, 10 minutes drive from Guardamar, 20 minutes drive from Torrevieja and 6 minutes drive from the Blue Flag beach. It is a well developed urbanisation whose local amenities include 4 banks, 3 public swimming pools, snooker club, bowling club, supermarkets, national health doctor, private clinic, pharmacy, 3 newsagents and plenty of bars and restaurants (English, Spanish German and Chinese). There is a good bus service to all local towns and markets as well as to the beaches in the summer. The beautiful sandy Blue Flag beaches offer safe bathing and are approximately 5km long.
